| Amen on this one Bro. Not only do I think we should get a day off with pay, I think it should be President's Weekend. We should all have enough time off that we can really celebrate the wonderful men that have made such an impact on our country's history. That would give us the time to really honor the presidents that died serving their country, too.
If we had more time to reflect on the great men of our country's history, maybe our country would hold a higher expectation of the men leading it today. Hence, becoming more active in Election Day, taking on more active rolls in changing the laws that are pointless, redundant, or just plain wrong, and hold the leaders of today and our country's future in a place of higher accountability.
Good bitch Bro. WTG!!! | |

| I am 100% with you on this. It has become such a politically correct world that we live in that the importance of things seems to get lost in the shuffle.I agree that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was an important figure in our history and that he had much to do with the change and the direction that our nation has taken towards minority America.Personally,I don't think that a holiday should have been designated at all,but it is an apology without an apology. If I were an African American,I would be insulted by this attempt to appease me,but that's me.And that is a good question Bro,why do we not get paid for the day that is to celebrate not one,but two of our nations greatest leaders? Makes you kinda go hmmmmm, doesn't it? | |
